Our story

Built to give prospecting the attention it needs

Garner began with a practical sales challenge: finding new business requires consistent effort, but internal sales teams also need time to develop opportunities and close them.

After working across business development and account executive roles, Jeremy Banks saw how difficult it could be to balance researching accounts, contacting decision-makers and following up with running meetings and managing active deals.

He founded Garner Collective in 2022 to help businesses get in front of the right people and create worthwhile sales conversations. The business was built around taking much of the prospecting workload off internal teams.

Today, Garner combines B2B lead generation, appointment setting and coordinated outbound outreach. Campaigns bring together targeting, prospect data, messaging, qualification and a clear handover to the client’s sales team.

Garner works alongside your sales team. We handle prospecting and initial qualification; your team develops the opportunity and manages the sale.

Jeremy Banks: practical experience across the B2B sales process

Jeremy brings more than 15 years of experience across business development and account executive roles to Garner Collective.

Before founding Garner, Jeremy worked in sales roles with Salesforce, ChannelAdvisor, Procore and Autodesk. These roles gave him experience across different B2B sales environments and growth stages, from initial prospecting to developing and closing opportunities.

Previous sales roles
  • Salesforce
  • ChannelAdvisor
  • Procore
  • Autodesk

After leaving Autodesk, Jeremy established Garner in 2022 with a straightforward goal: help businesses get in front of the right people and create worthwhile sales conversations.

He remains closely involved in campaign targeting, sales messaging and call feedback, using the objections and opportunities heard directly from the market to inform campaign decisions.

Jeremy also authors Garner’s B2B sales and marketing guides, sharing the prospecting and qualification principles that inform the team’s work.

Effective outbound starts before the first call

  • Who is the right customer?
  • What problem does the business solve?
  • Who is involved in the buying decision?
  • Why would that prospect take a meeting?
  • Why is the conversation relevant now?

For Jeremy, a booked meeting is valuable when the prospect is relevant, understands why the conversation is taking place and represents a genuine opportunity for the sales team.

Australian-based representation

Your business, represented by Australian-based callers

Every Garner caller is based in Australia. We represent your business through conversations shaped around your offer, target market and campaign objectives.

Before outreach begins, we work with you to understand who you want to reach, why your offer matters and what makes a prospect suitable for the next step.

Whether you are targeting Australian organisations or exploring overseas markets, calling arrangements are agreed around your campaign and audience. Phone outreach can also be coordinated with email and LinkedIn activity.

  • Messaging developed with your business

We work with you on the conversation framework, qualification questions and information callers need to represent your offer.

  • A clear next step for suitable prospects

Agreed criteria guide qualification, follow-up and appointment booking, helping your sales team understand why each opportunity has been handed over.

  • Visibility into campaign activity

Call notes, CRM updates and reporting give your team context about prospect responses, objections and opportunities.

How we work

Clear targeting. Relevant conversations. Shared accountability.

These principles guide how Garner plans outreach, represents your business and works with your sales team—from the first campaign discussion through to qualification and handover.

Understand the opportunity

Effective prospecting starts with a clear understanding of your customer, their business challenges and the reason your offer deserves their attention.

What this means in practice

We agree on target accounts, relevant decision-makers, campaign messaging and qualification criteria before outreach begins.

Respect the conversation

Each conversation is an opportunity to understand whether there is a relevant business need and what an appropriate next step would look like.

What this means in practice

Callers work from a framework developed with your business, listen to prospect responses and assess opportunities against the criteria agreed with your team.

Learn and work together

Campaign activity provides useful feedback about your market. Questions, objections and prospect responses help inform ongoing discussions about targeting and messaging.

What this means in practice

We share call context, CRM updates and campaign reporting, with Jeremy involved in reviewing the feedback and opportunities heard through outreach.

A shared process from first contact to sales handover

Garner manages prospecting and initial qualification. Your sales team develops suitable opportunities and manages the sale. Agreeing on responsibilities, qualification criteria and follow-up helps both teams work towards the same objectives.

From planning to sales handover

A campaign built around your business and sales process

Working together starts with agreeing on the audience, the purpose of the outreach and what your team needs when an opportunity is handed over.

  1. Agree on the campaign

We work with you to define your ideal customer profile, priority accounts, messaging and qualification criteria. Prospect data can be provided by Garner or drawn from your existing lists and CRM.

  2. Engage and qualify prospects

Australian-based callers introduce your offer, gather relevant information and establish suitable next steps. Email and LinkedIn can support the outreach where appropriate to the campaign.

  3. Hand over opportunities and review feedback

Suitable opportunities are scheduled or handed to your team through the agreed process. Call notes, CRM updates and reporting provide context for follow-up and help inform ongoing campaign decisions.

The handover matters. Your sales team should understand who the prospect is, what was discussed and why the next conversation is relevant. Those requirements are part of campaign planning.
